According to the National Consumer Law Center, a large percentage of car sales involve fraud, deception, or unfair practices. Different types of fraud that can occur during the sale or lease of a vehicle may include “bait and switch” advertising, odometer roll back, selling a used car as new, marking up the price of the vehicle or adding options to offset the credit from a trade-in or rebate, misrepresenting the condition of a car, charging for accessories and then not providing them, failure to deliver clear title, and promising the best interest rate, and then giving a higher interest rate.
State and federal laws place limits on the time a consumer has to file a law suit. Because a delay can jeopardize your claim, you should have an attorney who specializes in auto fraud cases review your claim as soon as possible.
The Kinsey Law Group is dedicated to helping consumers who have experienced losses when purchasing or leasing vehicles.
